Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, if any, will be processed for payments made through the official online payment gateway towards Gram Panchayat taxes, fees, and charges.

This policy applies to all taxpayers making payments to Tantithaiya Gram Panchayat via the authorized online payment gateway (including UPI, net banking, debit/credit card, or wallet).

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  1. Duplicate Payment: When the same tax/charge is paid more than once for the same period and property/account.
  2. Excess Payment: When the amount paid is more than the payable amount due to clerical or calculation error.
  3. Technical Error: When the payment gateway deducts the amount from the payer’s account but the transaction fails and the amount is not reflected in Gram Panchayat’s records.
